Kaylie in the Hospital AGAIN

So this week in Las Vegasl the wind picked up big time and with all the crazy pollen out there Kaylie really started having a hard time with her asthma and her allergies. Wednesday morning super early I took her into the emergency room where they gave her treatments for about 5 or 6 hours before finally deciding she needed to be admitted. What a trooper she was though. Once we got settled in her little room and spoke to some doctors about an action plan, she and I both fell asleep. It took her until Saturday night before they released her and she was sooo ready. Once they were able to take out her IV so we didnt have that dumb roller iv to follow us around we got to spend a lot of time in this big play room they have for children. They had all kinds of toys and crafts and painting and nintendo games. They have a really nice girl that comes in and sets up fun activities for all the kids to do. Well, on Saturday Kade and Kyrstin were able to visit and we took them all to the play room and since Sunday was easter the nurses were putting together Helium balloons tied to stuffed animals. Ours were the only kids in the play room so they each got to take home a balloon and a bunny. She is doing much better now but again with a lot of medications and really considering how her allergies are being affected. We are even thinking of tearing up our carpet in the house so she doesnt have to deal so much with the dander and dust that settles in carpet. We are also shaving winston down more often and on windy days she has to stay inside. not as much fun for her but better than another trip to the children's hospital.
