Kade's Heart

Some of you may have heard but for those of you who have not, last month at Kade's 4 month well child check, Dr. Carrie heard a murmur. So we went to a specialist today and took some tests. First they did and EKG and also an echocardiogram which is like an ultrasound of his heart. Dr. said everything looked really good. He does have a murmur but its not an "innocent murmur". Basically it means that its just the sound his heart makes sometimes when its pumping blood into his heart and it will most likely take care of itself as he gets older. He will still be able to play sports or whatever he wants so there arent any worries. Dr even said he is the picture of perfect health. And get this...he is almost 17 lbs and grew an inch and a half in the last month! No wonder he has been grumpy this last month, he had a bit of a growth spurt. Chunky boy.
