Today, we decided to kick out Brock and Kade and have an all girls mother daughter day, just us girls. Brock and Kade spend the day together as well. We started out the day with a big breakfast and then the girls helped me go grocery shopping. I had to get that out of the way so we could start having fun. Then, we went to the park and had a little picnic on the grass.


We played at the park for a while and then went to costco where the girls were such big helpers. They even helped me carry in big boxes from the car. We bought some new pool noodles to play with and Kaylie started jumping off the side of the pool onto the noodles. This is a big deal because one year ago, you wouldnt have seen kaylie in the water even if we were holding on to her. She would always just stay on the stairs and splash a little bit but she finally got up the courage and jumped in by herself! I also have a video of this I am going to post of this that we sent to Brock so he could see.
Kyrstin was watching kaylie and has recently started swimming around in the pool without help from an adult but just a noodle or her life jacket. She too used to be too afraid to leave the step but now both girls are starting to swim better and better.

After our swimming time, we made the coolest banana splits with superman ice cream that was bright blue, red and yellow with chocolate and strawberries on top. Since we arent allowed to eat in the living room we thought it would be fun to have a little picnic on a blanket in the living room. We also watched Marley and Me which was such a cute movie and actually reminded me a lot of the chaos around our house with kids and dogs and Jake, our own personal marley.

Also for the agenda this evening we have manicures and pedicures and popcorn and dinner. Its been so long since the girls and i spent a whole day together just us and we had a great time.
