Happy Easter!

For Easter this year we had the most beautiful spring day, so we spent it outside mostly and actually got in the pool a little bit. still a bit chily but it was a blast. Kaylie helped me paint easter eggs while kyrstin got in a water gun fight with her father. Kade mostly drove around in his car on the patio.

Our friends Scott and Taressa came over for a bit and ended up getting thrown in the pool (Brock had everything to do with it). Scott picked up Taressa and was trying to throw her in the pool so since she knew she was going down she dumped her entire drink down his pants! at this point Brock saw fit to push them both in. It was a fun time to be sure.

The girls have been loving the water fights with Brock, though it takes Kyrstin some time to get into it. She likes the idea of getting everyone else and not being sprayed herself. We just had to explain that that's how a water fight works, if you cant handle getting wet you dont get to spray the others.

We are also working a bunch ("we" as in "brock") on our backyard. We dug up about 10 x 10 of the leftover sod and leveled out an area to put some sandstone and red bricks down for the hottub Brock is putting in. We managed to level and get most of the rock down. Also, since my parents are moving this next couple weeks out of the state, we inherited a bunch of plants so we've been rearranging and decided where to transplant all of these wonderful plants my mom took so much time and effort to grow here in las vegas. I dont know a lot abotu plants and im terrible at keeping them alive but with my mom's instructions and brocks help we will have some roses, some oliander and a bird of paradise that just started to bloom. It will be nice to add some color to our back yard.

Also Brock is going to build a sandbox for the girls and above it a 4 level tree fort in the corner of the yard. The "blue prints" he came up with are awesome and the kids will love it. I cant wait til its done and we can show you.
