Trip to Boise

So last week, Mocha Joe made its very first business trip. well more like Deidra, Marcia (my mother in law) and myself come up with this great idea to drive my Corolla (with kade in the back seat) to Boise, ID to visit to Roasters where we want to get our coffee for the coffeeshop. It was about 13 hours each way since we of course had to do this in February during snow and ice storms. But we made it and live to tell the tale. and it may sound far fetched but we even almost ran into a giant runaway cow abuot 60 miles away from any town. bizarre.

Deidra is double fisting mochas in that picture!

Kade was amazing the whole trip, basically didnt cry unless he needed changed, in fact i think the adults were more whiney by the end of this excursion than he was.

The mosaic is the front of the serving counter at a coffeeshop we visited downtown, by far the coolest thing i've ever seen and i desperately want to try this on something!

We got to take a tour of the Roastery and even watched this guy roast a bunch of beans in a drum roaster. It was such a blast and we cant wait to get the coffeeshop open. Hopefully soon for those of you who havent heard about some of the plumbing issues, Mocha Joe will hopefully open in the next month or two once these issues are resolved. We will be sure to let you know.

After Boise we decided to stop in Salt Lake City and visit Marcia's very dear friend Connie where we stayed the night and enjoyed the morning, playing in the several inches of snow that accumulated in a very short time.
